30 days of localdock.dev, a $9 mac app. here is what actually happened 3,982 people visited. 33 of them bought. $363 total product hunt brought $163, almost half of everything. one email newsletter brought $36. chatgpt brought $10 from a handful of visitors now the sad part. tiktok, reddit, r/buildinpublic, google, a r/vibecoding. all of them sent traffic. all of them made $0. my reddit post got 310k views and zero sales. tiktok sent 436 people through its in app browser and none of them bought funnel looks like this. 3.9k visit the page, 123 click checkout, 33 pay. so 97% just look and leave. 93% bounce rate, 55 seconds on the site but the 33 who paid all did it on the first visit. most within an hour. nobody comes back later another thing i noticed. ai bots crawled the site 356 times. chatgpt 198, claude 131. more than google indexed it. and the few people chatgpt sent over converted at 50% i dont have a conclusion. just posting the numbers because i wanted to see stuff
