ting-tong! a new sale

obliqnews.com/the-wall-he-kept-hitting The story of Vela

A 30-second product animation should not cost $500 or take 6 hours to make in 2024. That's the legacy price of a skill bottleneck that no longer exists. AI motion graphics tools have quietly crossed the "good enough for paid ads" threshold in the last few months. I know because I built one — Vela — and I've been watching what real users produce with it.

Finally a Sale 🎉🎉

I built this because I was tired of guessing my haircut. You sit down, say “just a little shorter”… and somehow walk out looking completely different. Then you just live with it for the next few weeks. So I made something simple. Upload your photo, try different hairstyles, and see how they actually look on you before you commit. I tested a few styles I thought would suit me… most of them didn’t 😂 Which was kind of the point. Now at least I know what not to get. If you’ve ever regretted a haircut, you’ll probably get this:

What haircut should i get? You need to stop making bad ones. Because once it’s cut… you’re stuck with it. For weeks. So we built HairTry. Upload a photo. Try different hairstyles. See exactly how it looks on you. Try a few styles. Most won’t work. One will. That’s the one you take to your barber.

You're losing ~20 hours a year to screenshot formatting. 8 min in Canva × 3 posts/week × 52 weeks = that. Do you still do the Canva loop every time — background, watermark, export? I killed that step entirely. Takes 3 sec now. brandsnap.click if curious.
