Tapy just passed 1,000 users. 🚀 But I realized something important: I still couldn’t convert those users into paying customers. At first, free users had 5 AI message credits, and almost nobody reached checkout. Then I reduced it to 2 credits, and checkout attempts increased to 21 but still, no sales. The reason was clear: To protect the sustainability of the product, I had limited the free experience too much. Since we’re building this with our own resources, I simply couldn’t offer the full Pro experience for free. It was necessary for survival, but it also taught me a lot. Still, 1,000 verified users means 1,000 potential customers. As the product improves, conversions will come naturally. And honestly? Everything happened fast, it was incredibly educational, and most importantly — it was worth it. Now it’s time for the next big update after our first 1,000 users.
